Job Purpose

The Circuit Board Assembly (CBA) Regional Marketing Director is a key member of the Asia Pacific (AP) regional leadership team and is responsible for working with global CBA Business Unit partners (Product Management and Line of Business leaders – Wave/Wire/Reclaim (WWR), Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and PPT) and SAS Regional Commercial leaders to identify, plan and execute growth strategies in the assigned region. The CBA Regional Marketing Director will directly manage and support select CBA Applications and Product Demonstration Centers in the AP region.

Job Responsibilities

  • As a member of the AP regional commercial leadership team, work with the global and regional product management & LOB leaders, as well as, regional commercial teams to develop plans and identify, prioritize and execute initiatives in support of business strategies designed to deliver financial and share gain targets.
  • Directly coordinate with Electrolube leadership and Product Management to develop AP regional business growth and profitability enhancement strategies and to plan, prioritize and execute initiatives designed to achieve regional Polymer Protection and TIMs objectives. This includes any and all BTSO related work, as well as, advancing new product development opportunities.
  • Enable day to day support to commercial teams for Electrolube product related information, technical needs, customer questions and escalation of any issues affecting regional business performance.
  • Direct management of Electrolube and HiTech Applications and Demonstration Laboratory in Suzhou, China in direct support of our Electrolube and HiTech product offerings.
  • Coordination of the deployment of sales tools and related training of regional commercial teams when new products are launched or new / updated applications information is released.
  • Participate in the creation of regional strategic initiatives and driving these initiatives to achieve defined objectives.
  • Undertake business and market analysis to understand the dynamics affecting the region and support quarterly forecasting report outs.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications partners to develop and deploy an annual communications plan
  • Using the Atlas CRM system, monitor key regional opportunities and look for ways to accelerate advancements leveraging company resources (Leadership, Prod Mgt., R&D, etc…).
  • Contribute to the identification of new business development opportunities using market knowledge and input from commersial teams, customers, consortia and others. Recommend investments where appropriate including acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and licensing.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A Bachelors level degree from an accredited university, preferably in a physical science or engineering discipline.
  • Five to seven years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

  • Familiarity with the electronic assembly industry
  • Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of working time.
  • Thorough understanding of the Company’s products and procedures.
  • Possess well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Address inquiries and resolve problems by using appropriate resources/other departments to achieve results/answers.
  • Present a professional attitude and handle confidential information according to non-disclosure guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment.
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal customers at off-site Alpha and divisional locations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
