About the Role: We are seeking for our client a highly skilled and experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of the value-add logistics properties in Germany. Based in Berlin, you will be part of an international real estate investment firm managing a diverse portfolio across the German market. You will play a key role in driving asset performance, executing value-add strategies, and ensuring long-term profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance the value and profitability of logistics properties.
- Oversee leasing activities, tenant relations, and contract negotiations to maximize occupancy and rental income.
- Identify and execute value-add initiatives, including refurbishments, repositioning, and operational improvements.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and conduct financial modeling and reporting.
- Collaborate with acquisition, property management, and development teams to align strategies and optimize asset performance.
- Conduct market analysis and identify trends to support investment decisions and risk assessments.
- Manage external service providers such as property managers, brokers, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s or master’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4-7 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on logistics or industrial properties.
- Strong understanding of the German real estate market, particularly in logistics and value-add strategies.
- Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis tools, and real estate management software.
