Overview

In this role you will deliver cost management services across complex, regulated pharmaceutical projects. You will lead feasibility, procurement strategy, cost planning, and contract administration to ensure high-quality, compliant delivery. You will work within a collaborative team to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a net‑zero carbon agenda. This opportunity combines technical cost expertise with stakeholder leadership on high-profile programmes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Lead feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies and contract selection
  • Own and present final cost plans through cost planning and estimation activities
  • Support the procurement process across prequalification, enquiry, analysis, and contract preparation
  • Oversee contract documents, bonds, warranties and licenses and assist with formal execution
  • Administer building contract terms and measure valuations, cost checking and reporting
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present findings to clients
  • Identify costs associated with design changes, awards, construction activities and client charges
  • Manage and coach a team of Cost Consultants and drive process improvements
  • Mentor team members and share expertise to upskill capabilities
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships and influence senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement plans and support net zero carbon transition during delivery
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver quality, compliance and operational excellence resources

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • +10 years of relevant experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceutical
  • Proven cost planning, budgeting and estimating experience
  • Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of costs, timescales and risk implications for delivery
  • Experience with different contract types and measurement methodologies
  • Knowledge of BIM techniques and applications
  • Negotiation and analytical skills
  • Digitally competent
  • Recognised accreditation with professional bodies in country
