MacGregor Black are partnering with a Global Market Leading Housewares brand , on the search for a Area Sales Manager .
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the Sales function. You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive; your ideas and initiatives will contribute to the success of the team and the company. Excellent organisational, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills are critical to the role. A previous experience with consumer goods products across key national retailers is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned customers, product portfolios, and branded product lines.
- Drive growth within the independent business sector by identifying new opportunities, strategically prospecting, and building strong, long-term customer relationships while delivering outstanding service.
- Identify high-potential areas and implement proactive business plans to maximize opportunities, utilizing a category management approach.
- Design and execute structured sales campaigns to achieve significant and measurable results.
- Develop and execute commercially viable sales strategies that optimize both current and future business opportunities.
- Proactively seek and secure new business across various retail profiles.
- Assess, respond to, and follow up on all sales leads and opportunities for both new and existing customers.
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity on a monthly basis.
- Represent the company at relevant trade shows and fairs, ensuring key business objectives are met.
- Plan and implement cost-effective, efficient journey schedules to maximize productivity.
