Formulation Scientist- Nutraceutical Ingredients

Overview

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing formulations for nutraceutical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product stability, compliance, and performance, driving innovation from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate products using botanical extracts (e.g., ashwagandha, curcumin), probiotics and prebiotics for the dietary supplement space.
• Conduct stability and compatibility studies for multi-ingredient blends.
• Optimize formulations for powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, and functional beverages.
• Collaborate with R&D to explore novel delivery systems (liposomes, microencapsulation).
• Prepare technical documentation, prototypes, and application guidelines for customers.
• Stay updated on clean-label trends, regulatory requirements, and scientific advancements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in nutraceutical formulation development.
• Knowledge of ingredient functionality, interactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
