Technical Operations Director (Ingot Growing) - Germany (Hybrid)- Semiconductors

Mackenzie Stuart is partnering with an innovative semiconductor company specializing in silicon wafer manufacturing to identify a Technical Operations Director focused on growing high-quality ingots. Extensive experience with high quality ingot growing is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the ingot growth process, primarily utilizing the Czochralski method.
• Ensure precise regulation of molten silicon temperature and flow.
• Manage crystal and crucible rotation and optimize crystal pulling speed.
• Drive improvements in operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance yield and productivity.

Qualifications :

• 5-10 years of experience in growing high quality ingots for silicon wafers.
• Strong understanding of the Czochralski process.
• PhD in materials science or a related field is preferred.
• Proven leadership skills in a manufacturing environment

Compensation :

• Salary is variable based on experience, plus benefits

Location :

• Remote; regular travel to Germany is required.
