Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy across the global Industrial and Environmental industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognized market leader within the specialty Chemicals and Process Water Treatment markets, who are looking to hire a Sales Area Account Manager to join their growing team in Eastern Germany.

A growing and nationally recognized leading manufacturer across the Specialty Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.
Location
This role is a hybrid working opportunity, based in Eastern Germany. It is a home-based role that will also involve travelling to both existing and prospective clients in the region.
The Role & Responsibilities
In the role of Sales Area Account Manager, you will be responsible for the business development, sales and key account management.
You will have established contacts and a developed network of clients across Eastern Germany. As the Sales Area Account Manager, you will focus on the successful development and activities across a wide portfolio of clients including Water Treatment, Paper Manufacturing, Petrochemical and Water Process Chemical related clients.
- Undertake business development activities across Eastern Germany, focusing on the strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
- Utilise and leverage your network across Eastern Germany, focusing on the Specialty Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.
- Propose sales pricing, economic indicators and potential industry-related competitors.
- Provide technical understanding and support to existing customers across a wide range of products and solutions.
- Conduct routine analysis as well as preparing service and annual reports.
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to collaborate, analyse and process data.
- Manage and maintain customer-related data as well as internal documentation.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ideally educated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrable professional experience in the Sales and Business Development of Specialty Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken.
- Ability to use MS Office software applications.
