Every day, around the globe, our imprints, books, journals, platforms, and technology solutions reach millions of people. /p pFor over 180 years, our brands and imprints have been a trusted source of knowledge to these communities, and today, more than ever, we see it as our responsibility to ensure that fundamental knowledge can be found, verified, understood, and used by our communities - enabling them to improve outcomes, make progress, and benefit the generations that follow. /p pVisit springernature.com and follow @SpringerNature. /p h3About The Brand /h3 pMacmillan Education provides world-class content in the most relevant, engaging and flexible formats to support students, teachers, and institutions in lifelong learning. /p pVisit macmillaneducation.com and follow @MacmillanEducation / @MacmillanELT /p h3About The Role /h3 pMacmillan Education's English Language Teaching division is seeking a highly motivated, ELT Consultant to join our Swiss sales team, who will be promoting our print and digital products to institutions throughout Switzerland. /p h3Role responsibilities: /h3 ul liDrive Business Development by achieving agreed print and digital sales objectives within a defined region and identifying growth opportunities through effective territory and account management. /li liManage the full sales cycle with existing and prospective customers, applying Consultative Selling, Negotiation Skills, and Persuasion to develop business and secure sales opportunities. /li liBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact, sales visits, product presentations, training sessions, and relevant events, demonstrating a Customer-Focused approach and Communicates Effectively skills. /li liGenerate demand and increase market presence through targeted promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and lead-generation initiatives, consistently demonstrating Drives Results. /li liCollaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions, resolve customer issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through a Customer-Focused and partnership-driven approach. /li liMaintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, forecasts, and account reviews, leveraging Business Insights to support reporting, planning, and informed decision-making. /li liGather, analyse, and communicate Market Intelligence on customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, opportunities, and threats to support business growth and strategic planning. /li liMaintain strong Product and Service Knowledge across print and digital offerings, effectively positioning solutions and providing customer feedback to support continuous product improvement. /li /ul pThis role will be based at our Springer Nature office in Cham but with allowance for some home-based working alongside regular travel to visit customers. Benefits include a company car and a bonus scheme. /p h3Experience, Skills Qualifications: /h3 ul liBA in Education or another recognised EFL/teaching qualification, with a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience. /li liFluent English (C1/C2 level, written and spoken) and proficiency in German or French (minimum B1 level, written and spoken). /li liKnowledge of the Swiss education system and/or educational publishing, with an interest in supporting educational excellence. /li liConfident user of technology, able to leverage digital tools effectively in teaching and professional environments. /li liSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and highly organised, with strong time management and a target- and solution-focused approach. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, supported by a clean driving licence and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. /li /ul pAt Springer Nature, our mission is to be part of progress - and that begins with inclusion: of people, perspectives, and ideas.
