Overview
In this BI/Analytics role, you support a manager in delivering corporate reporting and analytics solutions. You will shape data models and reporting designs, drive SAP BW on HANA implementations, and create front-end analytics with Power BI, Tableau, and SAP tools. The position emphasizes optimizing performance, user enablement, and contributing to Magna’s BI strategy and roadmap. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy robust, scalable BI solutions and mentor analysts. This is a data-driven role at a global automotive technology leader.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Collaborate with business to define and document functional and technical requirements
- Adopt data modeling and data flow design best practices for scalable solutions
- Train users on BI tools and processes
- Activate, configure and enhance Business Content Extractors
- Optimize reporting and data load performance
- Design and develop front-end analytics, reports and dashboards (Power BI, SAP BO/WebI, Analysis for Office, Tableau)
- Communicate and deploy changes in production
- Design, develop, configure, transport, test and deploy SAP BW on HANA solutions
- Create complex BEx queries and build InfoCubes, multi-providers, and related data structures
- Provide expertise on solutions and designs
- Investigate issues and provide timely solutions
- Define technical specifications and create documentation per Magna IT standards
- Control change requests and develop solutions per IT standards
- Support and mentor divisional Analysts on data sources, SQL, ETL, and dashboards
- Participate in software evaluations and proofs of concept
- Contribute to BI&A Strategy, Roadmap, and Budget development
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or other comparable education
- 10+ years of experience in end-to-end analytics and reporting projects
- SAP BW/BI on HANA experience including extraction, modeling, and query design (ECC SD, JIT/JIS, MM, PP, QM, MM, WM, FICO)
- ABAP experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP SLT+HANA (DaaS), BW on HANA, BOBJ, WEBI, SAP Analytics Hub
- Familiarity with Tableau/Tableau Prep, SQL Server, MS Office, Lotus Notes
- English and one other European language
