What you can expect

In this position, you will ensure that MES-related services and procedures are implemented, maintained, and properly executed globally. You will act as a technical consultant to plants and cross-functional departments on MES topics, requiring a good understanding of production processes, IT infrastructure, and collaboration with other departments and customers. Your main tasks will include:

• Project management of MES-related process implementations, solutions, and functions
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements, proposing technical concepts, and validating technical feasibility
• Coordinating and implementing MES template functions in the plants
• Process analysis and optimization in coordination with departments
• Serving as the interface between production (key user/process owner), automation technology, IT, and external partners
• Participating in functional and integration tests, as well as Go-Live preparations of MES services, processes, and functions
• Supporting training activities with functional key users
• Coordinating and supporting the current MES provider
• Supporting and enhancing MES template functions through continuous improvement
• Defining and managing the authorization concept

What you bring along

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in related fields, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks)
• Experience with MES standards and templates is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English and German, along with analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel globally (approximately 30%)

We value commitment and qualification, offering a salary starting from €51,000 gross per year (based on 38.5 hours/week). Overpayment is possible depending on experience and education.
