OT Cyber Security Engineer (m / f / d)

Your core tasks

• Your core task is to create technical security solutions for the production area. In the course of this, you analyze existing system landscapes, identify optimization possibilities, and derive necessary security solutions.
• You are essentially involved in the development and roll-out process of the OT-Security Management System at MAHLE.
• You ensure that vulnerabilities in existing implementations and planned architectures are identified and derive measures for improvement.
• You continuously develop the security standards of the production.
• As an interface to the specialist departments and plants, you advise on our existing strategies. A regular exchange with colleagues helps them to become more aware of the topic of OT-security.
• You accompany IT security assessments and audits.
• You support in case of customer audits in an expert role.
• You are responsible for the internal communication and for the creation of awareness regarding the topic of OT-Security.
• You are responsible for risk assessments and analyze cloud solutions in the OT area.
• You evaluate security solutions, handle security incidents, and cooperate in security-related projects.

Your skills and strengths

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, business informatics, or a comparable degree.
• You already have knowledge and professional experience in a comparable activity with at least 5 years of experience.
• You have fundamental know-how in the IEC62443, as well as a basic know-how in the NIST-Framework, UN R155 / R156 regulation, and the ISO2700x family.
• Ideally, you have extensive expertise in OT security standards, security frameworks, and IIoT / Industry 4.0.
• You have know-how in risk analysis methodologies.
• Your high level of initiative and your ability to structure complex processes form the prerequisite to consistently and successfully handle the tasks set.
• You have an assertive manner.
• Your strengths also include your strong communication skills and your hands-on mentality.
• You are used to working in a dynamic environment, ideally in the automotive sector.
• You have a strong customer orientation and the ability to take on a leadership role in projects.
• You have good expertise in IT & OT technological trends.
• Traveling between the production companies globally will be considered a plus.
• You can communicate on a high production-related technical and IT level.
• You have a very good command of German and excellent written and spoken English.
