Senior Manager - Tax Reporting & Compliance | Frankfurt

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager for their Tax Reporting and Compliance function. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax Reporting and Compliance, you will take ownership of deferred taxes and play a central part in the team’s national compliance work, while also contributing to reporting with an international dimension.

This is a hands‑on senior role for a tax professional who enjoys combining technical depth with process improvement, and who wants real responsibility without stepping into a director‑level remit.

The role:

• Own the calculation, review and documentation of deferred taxes as the central focus of the role.
• Prepare and review tax figures for financial reporting, including contributions to international reporting processes.
• Manage national tax compliance obligations, ensuring filings are accurate, complete and on time.
• Use and further develop the team’s tax technology tools to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Work closely with the Head of Tax Reporting and Compliance on technical questions and process development.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting and external advisers on reporting and compliance matters.

What you’ll need:

• Substantial experience in tax reporting and tax compliance, gained in industry or professional services.
• Strong technical knowledge of deferred taxes and their treatment in financial statements.
• Confidence working with tax technology tools and data-driven reporting processes.
• A structured, independent working style and the ability to manage deadlines across reporting cycles.
• Fluent German and strong English.
