Julia Developer We are supporting an innovative technology organisation looking for an experienced Julia Developer to join its technical team.
The role combines hands-on Julia development and algorithm development with modern software engineering practices.
You will work on technically complex problems, developing, optimising and integrating algorithms into robust software solutions.
Key responsibilities Develop and optimise algorithms using Julia.
Translate mathematical and analytical concepts into robust, maintainable software solutions.
Design, implement and test Julia-based algorithms with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability.
Contribute to the development and improvement of software components surrounding the algorithms.
Apply modern software development practices, including version control and CI/CD.
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested production code.
Collaborate with other technical specialists to take solutions from concept through to implementation.
Continuously improve existing algorithms, code quality and development processes.
Key requirements3+ years of professional experience developing in Julia, with profound knowledge of the language and its ecosystem.
Proven experience in algorithm development, ideally involving optimisation, mathematical modelling, numerical methods or similar.
Solid software development experience, including Git/Git Lab and CI/CD.
Experience developing clean, maintainable and well-tested production software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical environment.
