Chief Financial Officer - CFO (Contract)

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Munich Our client is seeking an experienced CFO to lead their financial strategy. Oversee the development and expansion of the finance department, including organizational structuring and recruitment. Establish and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, and financial partners. Manage budgeting, forecasting, R&D cost controlling, and monthly reporting processes. Provide strategic and operational direction to accounting and FP&A teams. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, STEM, or a comparable quantitative field. ~6-8+ years of experience in finance, strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a CFO/leadership role in high-growth companies. ~ Strong expertise in financial management, reporting, and IFRS-based accounting. ~ Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach. ~ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. ~ Fluent in German and English .
