Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect websites, applications, and eCommerce platforms from cyber threats. In this role, you will work within a Cyber Defence Centre, analysing, preventing, and mitigating cyberattacks to enhance overall security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse cyber threats, responding to security incidents and attacks.
• Strengthen security configurations and implement protective measures.
• Manage web security systems, including content delivery networks (CDNs) and web application firewalls (WAFs).
• Improve defences against botnet attacks and ensure security for large-scale eCommerce platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance incident response and proactive threat management.
• Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and improve security operations.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English .
• Strong knowledge of web security, network protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS), and OSI layers.
• Experience with CDNs (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare) and web application firewalls.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security risks for web applications.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
