Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to develop and optimise IT operations, infrastructure, and strategic initiatives. This role involves leading a team, ensuring IT security and compliance, and driving digital transformation projects across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technological and organisational development of the IT department.
• Manage and mentor a 4-person IT operations team, acting as a key point of contact for IT-related matters.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity, ensuring smooth operations.
• Implement and optimise IT projects in both commercial and technical areas.
• Define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for outsourced IT services.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and IT security standards.
• Report on IT-related topics directly to senior management.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field, or completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration.
• Extensive experience in IT operations with initial leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (S/4HANA), CAD, groupware, and document management systems.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in German and English .
• Strong cost awareness, negotiation skills, and ability to drive change.
