We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a global product delivery team for software. You will oversee the development, testing, and deployment while shaping technical strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a global engineering team of 350+ professionals across multiple locations.
• Define and implement technical strategies, architecture, and roadmaps for the entire product suite.
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient processes from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Promote best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and agile methodologies.
• Drive technology-driven innovation, including AI integration, cloud adoption, and process automation.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage engineering budgets and establish KPIs to measure organisational success and efficiency.
• Lead organisational and technical transformations to maintain competitive and cutting-edge product offerings.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of leadership experience in IT product development.
• Strong expertise in software engineering, agile methodologies, and modern IT management practices.
• Proven track record in leading large, multinational, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing large-scale change projects and technical transformations.
• Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Business fluency in English (additional German language skills are beneficial but not required).
• Willingness to travel across different locations as needed.
