Legal Counsel

Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support in commercial and contract matters, particularly within project-based business operations. This role will involve reviewing, drafting, and negotiating distribution contracts, managing legal risks, and working closely with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on project-related matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
• Support project management teams during contract execution and implementation.
• Oversee external legal counsel and manage legal disputes, both in and out of court.
• Conduct legal training sessions and risk analyses.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, legal guidelines, and standard legal documents.
• Support legal operations, including process management, legal project management, and legal technology initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Completed law degree with strong academic performance (1st & 2nd state examination).
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably within a law firm or multinational company.
• Expertise in contract law, sales law, and mechanical/plant engineering.
• Business fluency in German and English .
• Practical experience in project management.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and global environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and ideally familiarity with legal technology tools.
• A doctorate (PhD) or LL.M. is a plus.
