We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our client, to oversee the development and operation of their Linux based web applications.
Summary:
- A modern technology organisation with a rewarding mission.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new Linux services.
- Web application administration and/or system integration experience required.
- This role is available remotely in Germany: all candidates must be living in Germany with fluency in German to be considered.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operating, enhancing, and reporting on Linux web application services
- Creating and establishing new IT services, upgrades, and processes to improve operations
- Act as a contact person for web application projects, for both internal teams and external service providers
- Collaborate and coordinate with your team to ensure timely and successful project completion
Skills and Qualifications:
- Web servers and application administration experience
- Post qualification experience as a System Integration IT Specialist (or equivalent)
- Fluency in German and English Languages
- Knowledge of Apache 2, Wildfly, Nginx, Tomcat, and/or MySQL
- Flexible working with home office options (hybrid/remote)
