Managing Data Engineer

Your Role:

• Advise on Data Engineering solutions and develop concepts for IT architecture, data integration, analytics, planning, and reporting.
• Design and implement high-quality technical and business data solutions.
• Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation.
• Work with technologies from leading partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Utilise programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java and frameworks such as Spark and PySpark.
• Model databases and use SQL to manage complex data structures.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Several years of experience in consulting or strategic projects, with knowledge of project management methods (Agile, Scrum, DevOps preferred).
• Strong expertise in Data Engineering and cloud solutions, with experience in Datalakes, Data Products, Data Mesh, or Data Vault.
• Ideally, experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to coach small development teams and willingness to travel as required.
