Location: Frankfurt (hybrid)

Our client is looking for an OpenStack Engineer to help manage and improve a large-scale private cloud infrastructure. In this role you will focus on automation, optimisation, and the ongoing enhancement of cloud and storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the provisioning and automation of physical and virtual infrastructure, integrating hardware into private cloud environments.
• Develop, manage, and improve private cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Use tools like Helm to implement automation workflows and support DevOps practices.
• Apply your knowledge of Ceph and object storage to enhance data storage systems.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure platform stability through effective monitoring and logging practices.

Your Profile:

• Strong enthusiasm for emerging technologies in Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Solid background in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure operations.
• Scripting/programming experience, especially with Python.
• Hands-on experience managing private cloud environments.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
