Description Own the technical architecture spanning a modern SAP-integrated product landscape - a cloud-native, AI-enabled application layer built on Node.js, connected into an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud core. You'll be the architect ensuring both sides evolve as one coherent, future-proof platform rather than two separate systems. Start: ASAP Location: Hamburg, hybrid Capacity: Full-time Duration: Initially 6 months, extension likely Design microservices and event-driven architecture on Node.js, ensuring multi-tenant capability and strong non-functional quality (performance, scalability, resilience) Define the technical approach for AI features within the product, including RAG and agentic patterns across product and SAP data Architect the integration layer between the cloud-native application and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (OData, REST, event-based integration) Provide architectural input on S/4HANA Private Cloud extensions and clean core principles, working closely with the SAP-side architecture team Own design governance - high- and low-level design documentation, review and sign-off within the architecture function Key Skills Solid Application Development and Architecture background, not purely design/governance-only experience Hands-on with SAP CAP (Node.js/CDS) - this is essential, not a nice-to-have Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines across both cloud-native and SAP toolchains Proven hyperscaler experience (AWS/Azure/GCP or equivalent) at architecture level Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP, including BTP AI tooling/services Node.js/TypeScript, microservices, API-first and event-driven design, containers/orchestration (Kubernetes) Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and clean core extension patterns RISE with SAP and SCM module exposure (SD/MM/EWM) a plus
