Transfer Pricing Specialist

Our client is seeking a Transfer Pricing Expert to help shape and steward a global transfer pricing framework for an internationally operating industrial group with a strong footprint in manufacturing. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for finance, controlling, and operational teams across the group's international entities, ensuring alignment with German and international tax rules while supporting the organisation's broader value creation strategy.

The role:

• Represent the organisation before national and international tax authorities, managing audit processes end-to-end with well-prepared, defensible documentation.
• Direct external advisors - tax consultants, economists - on complex engagements, holding them to a consistent quality standard.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reporting.
• Shape transfer pricing models across manufacturing, contract manufacturing, sales, services, and financing activities, with particular relevance to manufacturing-driven supply chains.
• Run functional and risk analyses that inform corporate restructurings, supply chain shifts, and new business models.
• Push forward the digitisation and automation of transfer pricing processes, including TP tools and data management.
• Maintain and evolve the group's global transfer pricing policy in step with OECD guidelines and German tax law.

What you'll need:

• Fluent German and English.
• Degree in business administration, economics, finance, law, or similar.
• Experience defending transfer pricing positions in tax audits.
• Several years in transfer pricing, at a multinational, Big Four firm, or tax consultancy; automotive/industrial exposure a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain structures.
• Strong grounding in OECD guidelines and German TP rules.
• Analytical mindset, able to translate tax issues into business-ready solutions.
