Join our team as
As (Senior) Quality Engineer, you will be a part of our Quality Management team, ensuring that our equipment products, including personal protection equipment (PPE), meet the highest standards. You will collaborate with various departments, conduct training sessions, and oversee supplier audits. The start date for this position would be April 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Do what you love
- Interface and subject matter expert between the development department and quality management to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Responsible for the quality assurance process of PPE products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Evaluate and analyze test results, prepare quality reports for development and suppliers.
- Monitor product and quality requirements together with external and internal testing laboratories and service providers.
- Conduct training for internal employees (safety and usage) as well as training for external expert groups such as mountain guides.
- Participate in standardization work within the CEN and UIAA committees.
- Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions for equipment suppliers.
Play to your strengths
- Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Quality Management.
- Strong PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) knowledge.
- Further training in process management, data analysis or textile engineering is a plus.
- Min. 3 years of work experience in an equal field/position.
- Know-how in product compliance as well as in standardization processes (CEN, SNV) and documents would be an advantage.
- Team player with problem-solving skills as well as a decision, solution-oriented & analytical mindset.
- Collaborative & flexible personality with strong communication skills.
- Strong knowledge in MS Office, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), FlexPLM and MATLAB.
- Fluent in English (written/spoken), German would be desirable.
- Practical experience in the usage of PPE equipment and passion for mountains.
