Key Responsibilities
- Independently prepare monthly payrolls for assigned clients.
- Handle payroll-related reporting and certification processes.
- Advise clients and colleagues on payroll, payroll tax, and social security matters.
- Maintain employee master data and payroll records.
- Communicate with tax authorities, social security institutions, and health insurance providers.
- Resolve complex payroll cases and perform quality checks within the payroll system.
- Support year-end payroll activities and German Pension Insurance audits.
- Participate in projects such as onboarding new clients and improving internal payroll processes.
Requirements
- Completed commercial/business education or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of German payroll tax and social security regulations.
- Experience using payroll software (DATEV is an advantage).
- Strong analytical skills and an independent working style.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Passion for modern technologies and continuous process improvement.
- Fluent German (C1), both written and spoken.
