About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the In Room Dining & Banqueting Manager is responsible for the In Room Dining & Banqueting. The In Room Dining & Banqueting Manager reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.
As In Room Dining & Banqueting Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for the smooth operation of In Room Dining and events
- Maintains a complete working knowledge of the menu, wine list and any special promotions
- Vacation and duty roster planning for the department
- Contact person for guest requests or complaints
- Control of the mise en place for the daily business
- Ensuring compliance with all Mandarin Oriental and HACCP standards
As In Room Dining & Banqueting Manager, we expect from you:
- Experience in a similar work environment and in a manager position
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Structured and organized way of working
- Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
- Very good communication skills in German and English
