The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. /p h3About The Job /h3 pBased at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Finance Department in Zurich, the Assistant Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the hotel's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Director of Finance reports to the Director of Finance. /p h3As Assistant Director of Finance you will be responsible for the following tasks /h3 ul liPreparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations during month-end closing /li liEnsuring that local legislation and procedures are followed /li liResponsible for following and understanding all MOHG and Hotel Policies Procedures /li liAssisting the Director of Finance with forecasting and budgeting /li liPerforming any controller tasks during the absence of Director of Finance /li liSupporting department heads with making relevant and accurate decisions on financial matters /li /ul h3As Assistant Director Of Finance, We Expect From You /h3 ul liAbility to handle high volume with attention to detail /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills /li liAn ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors /li liExcellent organizational and time management skills /li liApplies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times /li liAnalytical thinker /li liFlexible and reliable /li liResponsible for understanding and having a working knowledge of all areas in accounting and being able to assist or cover a position if needed /li liVery good knowledge of German and English.
