Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Europe | Fleet & Equipment Operations

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join a rapidly growing international business delivering cutting-edge fleet and equipment solutions across the aviation and logistics sectors.

This newly created role will be instrumental in leading and scaling operations across Europe, working directly with senior leadership to drive performance, innovation, and long-term strategic growth.

Industry Background:

We welcome candidates from a variety of operational and technical leadership backgrounds, including:

• Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

• Fleet or Commercial Vehicle Operations

• Heavy Equipment, Plant Hire, or Construction Machinery

• Industrial Vehicle or Logistics Support Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimise operations across multiple European locations

• Lead and develop high-performing technical and service teams

• Drive digitalisation, asset utilisation, fleet performance, and ESG initiatives

• Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and business expansion

• Be a visible, proactive leader willing to roll up your sleeves when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven operational leadership experience at Director/COO/Regional level

• Strong track record managing large teams across sites or international regions

• Commercially minded, hands-on, and ambitious with a strategic outlook

• Willing and able to travel frequently across Europe

• Experience in a growth-focused, asset-heavy environment

Location: Flexible within Europe (with extensive travel)
