Development Engineer

We are looking for a Development Engineer to join one of Europe’s leading space technology companies, known for delivering high-performance satellite systems, deep-space missions, and cutting-edge aerospace solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Electronics development for encryption devices in satellites and ground stations
• Participation in defining product requirements
• Consideration of security requirements for successful device certification
• Independent design and implementation of electronic circuits in analog and digital technology
• Verification of circuit/module performance using simulations for worst-case, derating, and signal integrity analyses
• Testing of circuits/modules under extreme conditions for qualification and acceptance
• Preparation of technical documents and analyses for the overall project, customer, and reviews

Your Qualifications

• Completed Master’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in circuit design and PCB layout for analog and mixed-signal electronics
• Several years of experience with ECAD design and simulation tools
• Knowledge of at least one programming language for controlling automated test setups
• Experience with European ECSS space standards is desirable
• High level of motivation and initiative
• Strong conceptual skills and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
