We're working with a leading engineering contractor delivering major mission-critical and industrial projects, and are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale mechanical and electrical packages.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in MEP project delivery who can lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex programmes and take responsibility for significant project budgets. You'll play a key role in driving delivery from project planning through to commissioning and handover.
The Role
You'll take overall responsibility for the delivery of MEP packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading MEP project delivery from planning through to commissioning and handover
- Managing project programmes, milestones, resources and deliverables
- Taking responsibility for budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial performance
- Working with commercial teams to manage variations, contractual matters and project risks
- Coordinating engineering, commercial and site teams to maintain progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and key project stakeholders
- Chairing project meetings and reporting on progress, costs and programme performance
- Managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships
- Ensuring mechanical and electrical systems are coordinated and delivered in line with design specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and project compliance
- Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover activities
- Leading, mentoring and developing project teams

The Person
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
- Background delivering large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial projects
- Experience managing MEP packages valued at €20M or more
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors
- Good commercial awareness, including cost control, forecasting and contract management
- Experience managing project programmes, resources and delivery milestones
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage project risks and resolve issues effectively
- A strong commitment to health, safety and quality
