HV Cable Jointer - XLPE

Project: Onshore Substation - 125kV to 400kV

Rotation: 4-5 weeks on / 1 week off

Duration: Long-term project / 6+ months

We are currently seeking 4 experienced HV XLPE Cable Jointers to support a major onshore substation project in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, jointing and termination of high-voltage XLPE cable systems.
• Working on cable systems from 125kV through to 400kV+.
• Carrying out jointing and termination activities in accordance with manufacturer procedures and project specifications.
• Supporting cable testing, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Completing accurate QA/QC documentation and jointing records.
• Maintaining strict HSE standards and ensuring all works are completed safely and to the required quality standard.
• Working effectively within a specialist HV installation and commissioning team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HV Cable Jointer.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with XLPE cable systems.
• Experience working on 125kV, 245kV and/or 400kV+ cable systems.
• Experience with HV joints and terminations on major power transmission/substation projects.
• Relevant HV jointing qualifications/certifications and manufacturer approvals where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years' verified HV cable jointing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of HV safety, quality and testing requirements.
• Able to work effectively on a rotational basis in Germany.
• EU citizenship is mandatory.
• Able to provide verifiable employment history, qualifications and references.
