Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician/Assembler (Production) Employee (m/f/d) for a full-time position based in Trauen. This is a hands-on role focused on the mechanical assembly, integration, and maintenance of aerospace components, particularly in a high-safety production environment. The position includes support for testing operations and requires strict adherence to safety procedures when working with hazardous substances.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical integration and assembly of complex aerospace components
• Maintenance and refurbishment of systems in a production environment
• Support for goods receipt inspections and materials handling
• Assistance in mechanical and electrical integration and test operations
• Safe handling of hazardous substances, including refuelling and defuelling

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical or mechanical role

• Proficiency in German (required for workplace and safety communication)

Education & Training

• Completed vocational training in one of the following (or equivalent):
• Precision Mechanic
• Industrial Mechanic
• Mechatronics Engineer
• Or similar mechanical qualification

Additional Requirements

• Willingness and ability to wear protective clothing and safety equipment
• Strict adherence to safety procedures involving hazardous substances

Workplace Health & Safety Requirements

This position involves working under specific occupational health regulations and may require clearance for the following conditions:

• G40 – Handling carcinogenic substances
