Are you an experienced Project Operations Manager with a strong main contractor / general contractor background and a proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects?
We're recruiting for a senior site leadership position on a major international data centre project in Frankfurt, with overall responsibility for coordinating construction operations across a complex, multidisciplinary site.
The Role
You'll take ownership of
- Overall site construction operations and delivery
- Multidisciplinary coordination across CSA, MEP and enabling works
- Site planning, logistics, mobilisation and resource management
- Construction sequencing and target programme development
- Coordination of internal teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Site walks, risk management and operational issue resolution
- EHS, quality and Right First-Time initiatives
- High-risk activities including lifting operations, temporary works and controlled operations
- Collaborative planning, Last Planner and Whiteboard/DABS processes
- Commercial awareness, scope changes and change management
- Client and supply chain relationships
- Site actions, constraints and recovery planning
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification
- 10+ years' experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Strong main/general contractor experience
- Proven multidisciplinary construction leadership
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) packages
- Good understanding of MEP interfaces
- Experience leading large teams and managing supply chain partners
- Strong construction planning, sequencing and logistics experience
- Excellent H&S, quality and commercial awareness
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Data centre or mission-critical experience highly desirable
