to support major
data centre and mission-critical projects
across Europe. We are particularly looking for experienced structured cabling professionals for projects in
Vienna, Austria , with additional opportunities across
Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands . The Role:
As an
ICT Project Supervisor , you will be responsible for the onsite supervision and coordination of telecoms and structured cabling installation teams. You will act as the key onsite contact for telecoms activities, ensuring fibre and copper installations are delivered safely, correctly, to programme and in accordance with project drawings and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
Supervise onsite telecoms and structured cabling installation teams Act as the first point of contact for onsite telecoms queries Oversee
fibre and copper structured cabling
installation Manage fibre splicing, patching and testing Oversee copper termination and testing Supervise installation of network racks and fibre management systems Ensure installations comply with drawings, cable schedules and specifications Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and other site trades Manage daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with RAMS / CMOPs Attend toolbox talks, daily briefings and onsite coordination meetings Carry out quality inspections and manage punch lists through to closeout Monitor progress against the project fit-out programme Identify and elevate delays, design conflicts and project risks Liaise daily with the Project Manager on progress and issues Produce weekly progress reports for the planning team Manage onsite project materials and Bill of Materials requirements Coordinate with the commissioning team to ensure test results are completed and issued on time Work with the BIM team to ensure as-built drawings are reviewed and delivered Assist with the compilation of project O&M manuals What We're Looking For:
3+ years' experience
in a similar ICT / Telecoms / Structured Cabling supervisory role Strong technical knowledge of
copper and fibre structured cabling Experience with fibre splicing, patching and testing Experience with copper termination and testing Ability to read and understand technical drawings and cable schedules Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coordinate subcontractors and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Vendor certification with
Panduit, Corning, AFL, CommScope
or similar Relevant telecoms / structured cabling industry certification This is an excellent opportunity for experienced
