Our client, a global leading telecommunication company, is recruiting for a C15 Switch Database Engineer to join their business . Position Title:C15 Switch Database Engineer Position Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Location:Remote Contact:Iulia Balan | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 62 Description: You would be an integral part of the Professional Services Team assisting customers with troubleshooting and technical support, covering C15 switch translations. You will need a solid C15 Translations skillset, and you may also provide virtual training for other engineers. Requirements ~ Must be an SME for C15 Soft Switch (VolP) and DMS10 translations with an in-depth understanding of PSTN hierarchy, call flow, routing, screening, billing, trunking. ~ Expert with developing and managing a customer dial plan. ~ High School Diploma or GED required. ~10+ years of C15 switch translations experience. ~ Other general telecom switches, including VolP knowledge and experience. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Lead meetings with customers to capture Database CIQ requirements. A key contributor to the transformation team in planning translations migration strategy and the development of translations for migration services. Perform feature activations. Accustomed to using available tools such as OMs and Logs to monitor cut-over progress. Other Functions: Perform cutover from legacy switch to C15. Perform fault isolation as needed to resolve reported switch problems. Work Environment: Work will be performed remotely. Ability to work in Shifts and Maintenance Windows in a 24 X 7 environment
