About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Network Rollout Project Manager to lead and manage vendors on Mobile Network Telecom rollout infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing vendors, and meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Execution:
- Follow the rollout plans, timelines, and milestones for telecom infrastructure deployment.
- Ensure deliverables and reach milestones as set on project plan in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and control project progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Identify and report potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot issues with vendors and solve those.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and punctual project documentation, including status reports, technical guides, and risk logs.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status and performance.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing vendors on Mobile Network Rollout projects (European and German projects is a big plus).
- Proven track record in delivering technical projects on time.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Mobile Network Telecom infrastructure Rollout processes.
- Good understanding of standard office IT tools.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to manage in the dynamic project environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
