To strengthen our team in the Supermarket sector, we are looking from 01.08.2026, for an indefinite period, at the Monthey site, for a motivated and committed person as Department Manager, 100%.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for organising the entire Food supermarket, setting seasonal priorities and creating versatile zones. - You successfully implement the offers, promotions and actions of the Manor Food concept. - You are responsible for planning and implementing budget objectives. - You create an attractive and innovative market atmosphere in accordance with the concept and ensure that our product concepts are properly implemented. - You are responsible for quality assurance and compliance with defined hygiene rules. - You ensure the quantitative and qualitative staffing structures in line with strategic orientation. - You identify, evaluate and exploit the potential of the local offer. - You analyse relevant key figures and successfully derive improvement measures. - You are present on the sales floor, leading and supporting employees in their daily work. - You ensure active communication and collaboration with headquarters and suppliers. - You independently conduct hiring, dismissal and evaluation interviews. - You identify and support young talents and ensure individual training and development of employees.
Your profile
- Ideally, you have completed basic training in retail in the food and beverage sector. - You have completed further training as a retail specialist. - You have several years of management experience in a similar role. - You enjoy strategic tasks and evaluations (ad hoc analyses, KPIs, etc.). - You are able to lead your team to achieve desired results, inspire them with your coaching skills and motivate them sustainably. - You stand out through your strong entrepreneurial and synthetic thinking. - You have a sense of improvisation and organisation and are happy to get stuck in. - You have a solution-, customer- and service-oriented personality and put the customer first. - You have a smart and neat appearance. - You speak fluent French and preferably know other national languages.
