What You'll Be Doing
Field Service & Support
- Installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system-related equipment issues to minimise downtime.
- Responding to emergency service requests and providing timely technical support.
- Performing equipment upgrades, modifications, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ordering and installing replacement parts as required.
Customer & Technical Engagement
- Working closely with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth service delivery and operational continuity.
- Training and supporting customer technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and technical documentation.
- Keeping current with new technologies, equipment updates, and service procedures through ongoing training.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, Associate Degree with relevant experience, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in demanding technical environments.
- Willingness to undertake an intensive training programme of at least three months outside the EU.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and maintaining professional standards while working on customer sites.
- Flexibility to travel as required to customer locations, training facilities, and company sites.
