Field Sales Representative

Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable and fast-growing Pharmaceutical company specialising in small molecule generics and finished dosage forms, who is seeking an ambitious Field Sales Representative to join their Austrian commercial team.

This role is focused on expanding market presence, driving sales growth, and building lasting customer relationships across Austria, with additional support to French-speaking markets.

Field Sales Representative – Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a defined sales territory in Austria, achieving or exceeding generics/FDF product sales targets
• Build strong and long-lasting relationships with pharmacies, distributors, hospitals, and healthcare professionals
• Identify new commercial opportunities, generate leads, and secure new business to support expansion goals
• Deliver effective product presentations, training, and support to healthcare providers on generics/FDF offerings
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics in Austria and neighbouring French-speaking markets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Sales Support teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer activity reports; provide regular updates on performance and market intelligence

Field Sales Representative – Requirements:

• 2–3 years\‘ proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably within Generics / FDF
• Fluent in German and French (spoken and written) to serve both Austrian and French-speaking clients effectively
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with the Austrian pharmaceutical market and healthcare distribution networks is highly desirable
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based capacity
• Based in Austria with full legal eligibility to work; willingness to travel regularly within territory
