Our client base is comprised of c-level executives from 98% of existing fortune 1000 companies, and are world leaders in a variety of industries, such as healthcare, legal, pharmaceutical, investments, energy, packaging, etc. /p pWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Freelance AV Technician to join our team, supporting our Lead AV Technician in running onsite AV operations at our Montreux summits. We host a number of summits per year, offering the potential for ongoing freelance opportunities for the right candidate. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with the Lead AV Technician to set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment and kits for summit events. /li liAssist in maintaining equipment by ensuring proper handling, storage, and testing procedures are followed. /li liOffer onsite technical support during summit events, including troubleshooting AV equipment issues under the guidance of the Lead AV Technician. /li liAdhere to company guidelines, policies, and quality standards to ensure professionalism and excellence in AV operations. /li liCollaborate with team members to create a supportive and efficient work environment. /li liContinuously improve technical skills and knowledge of company equipment to enhance performance and contribute to the success of summit events. /li liCommunicate effectively with onsite team members to ensure smooth operation and successful outcomes. /li liRemain flexible and adaptable to meet changing event requirements. /li liTake initiative to anticipate and address potential issues, contributing to the overall success of summit events. /li liUphold a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company with integrity and dedication. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAvailable to work in Montreux. /li liCandidates should be able to commute daily from their residence to the event location in Montreux. /li liA basic understanding of audiovisual technology and equipment. /li liExperience with lifting heavy items for event setup and strike is highly valued. /li liFamiliarity with operating presentation software, managing slides, and handling multiple microphones during live events. /li liA high level of English language. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively. /li liWillingness to learn and take direction from the Lead AV Technician. /li li3-5 years of experience as an AV Technician within a rental company or event venue. /li liExperience working with LED screens for events. /li liA proven ability to collaborate effectively with staff in a diverse environment. /li liAn ability to maintain a positive mindset and execute under pressure. /li liExcellent time management. /li liFriendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liGain valuable experience working alongside an experienced international team. /li liOpportunity for growth and development in the AV industry. /li liHands‑on training and support provided by experienced professionals. /li liAll meals are provided during working hours at the summit. /li /ul pWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
