Marketech International Corporation Germany is looking for an EHS Specialist to join our team in Dresden. If you enjoy keeping people safe and making a real impact on site, we'd love to hear from you!
What you\'ll do
- Manage health and safety on engineering/construction sites, including daily inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
- Oversee the work safety of site personnel and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company EHS requirements
- Deliver safety training and on-site awareness campaigns
- Conduct safety audits, track corrective actions, and support investigations of accidents, injuries, and abnormal events
- Prepare and manage safety documents, records, and reports, and support the OHS management system
What you bring
- Basic knowledge of German occupational safety legislation and safety management principles; experience in site safety management, hazard identification, and risk assessment
- Bachelor\'s degree or above in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in site safety management and safety inspections
- German and English at CEFR B2 or above (or equivalent certificate)
- Strong communication skills for working with contractors and site teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Nice to have
- Experience on German construction sites or in multinational engineering projects
