Mission

  • Collaborate with product developers, engineers and internal stakeholders to break down roadmap items into well‑defined, executable tasks.
  • Direct, constrain and verify the output of AI coding agents – ensuring correctness, quality and alignment with system architecture and business requirements.
  • Design and build scalable, resilient software for enterprise customers that operates reliably 24/7 as a mission‑critical system.
  • Own quality end‑to‑end: think about correctness before implementation, define what should be tested and at which level, and make failures observable and diagnosable.
  • Communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical contexts – translating between high‑level business intent and concrete engineering decisions.
  • Identify risks early, raise concerns constructively and move work forward without waiting for perfect information.
  • Design systems that are understandable and adaptable, considering how software behaves in production, how it will fail, and how it can be safely changed.

Skills

  • Proven track record as a Senior Software Engineer in a B2B SaaS, enterprise software or similarly reliability‑critical environment.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of web application architecture – APIs, data models, distributed systems, security, observability and deployment – technology‑agnostic and able to reason at the right level of abstraction.
  • Excellent communicator in English (near‑native level): explain complex topics clearly, listen actively and collaborate constructively with engineers, product developers and non‑technical stakeholders alike.
  • Self‑motivated and curious: investigate problems independently, identify risks proactively and move things forward without needing every next step defined for you.
  • Pragmatic, not dogmatic: apply engineering principles to the actual context, distinguish necessary quality from unnecessary complexity and ship things that work reliably.
  • Confident working with AI tools as a multiplier of your own capacity, while maintaining full accountability for what you deliver and a critical eye on AI‑generated output.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change: design for evolution, not for a fixed specification and thrive in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment where things shift quickly.
  • Background in start‑up or scale‑up environments is a strong plus; domain knowledge in manufacturing or pricing is not required.
