The Director FP&A understands the finance function as a business partner with a view on insights delivery, growth outlook and profitability focus. This includes leading MFT EIMEA’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. This role provides strategic financial insights to the executive leadership, supporting decision making, and ensuring the company meets its financial goals. The FP&A leader also continuously advances reporting and analytical capabilities by developing the team and levering systems and AI tools.Key AccountabilitiesLead long-range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly / quarterly forecastsAnalyze revenue, contribution margin, overhead and profitability as well as business drivers and provide clear insights to business partners and executive leadership teamPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reportsDevelop financial models to support business strategy and growth and partner with business leaders to evaluate new initiatives and investmentsMonitor financial performance against plans and forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and drive mitigation planningWork closely with EIMEA business to drive insights and reporting / process alignmentSupport VP Finance in major strategic projectsSupport internal controls and best practicesManage and develop an international team of FP&A experts and improve FP&A processes, tools and systemsSupport internal and external audit and communication with financial institutions and regulatory bodiesCommunicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and building trustRequired Qualifications, Skills/CompetenciesA bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldA minimum of 9-12+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance or FP&A rolesAt least 5 years in managerial or supervisory capacity overseeing finance teams and functionsExperience in a corporate environment with a focus on financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planningStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skillsProven track record of successfully partnering with the business, driving process improvements, and implementing financial strategies that positively impact business outcomesDemonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovationExcellent leadership skills in directing and supervising finance professionals, providing guidance, encouraging professional growth and leading by exampleAbility to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines with frequent interruptionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, that assist in building strong internal and external relationshipsChange leader with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detailExcellent German and English language skills, Fluent English (written and spoken) is essentialCzech language is a plusProficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), PowerBI / Microsoft Fabric, SAP and preferably OneStream / HyperionInternational travel, when required - experience of working internationally is desirable and the ability to demonstrate cultural awareness and flexibilityWhat we offer youAn open and dynamic corporate culture paired with the opportunity to work independentlyA challenging, international work environment with exciting tasks in an industry of the futureFlexible working hoursOption to work remotelySpace to learn, take on responsibilities as an active team member and have fun at workCompany pension schemeSubsidized canteen, free hot and cold drinks, and a weekly fruit basketRegular team eventsOur ValuesCharacter Do the right thing for the people and communities we serve.
