Job Description:
As a Regional Controls Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and installation of projects. Your role will be a senior active member of the Regional Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s). The individual in this role will be responsible for all aspects of planning and execution of capital & non-capital projects from ideation through project closure. This role will be responsible to lead and steward technology execution for automation, digitalization in packaging and process areas.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering in Electrical, Automation or similar
- 5-10 years’ experience in a comparable technical position – food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable
- Basic understanding of engineering principles – knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical
- In-depth understanding of project management principles and good knowledge of electrical and automation disciplines;
- Proven track record in developing and executing projects of more than € 2 mil.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Accurately scope and budget capital projects that are technically feasible and meet business plans
- Communicate and collaborate with all Stakeholders and other functions (R&D, Quality, Commercial, Safety, Maintenance) to ensure capital project objectives are clearly defined and achieved
- Ensure delivery of scope, timeline, budget, and cash flow for all assigned engineering projects in accordance with the Engineering Work Process (EWP)
- Onsite management of contractors and OEMs during installation including creating and ensuring a safe work environment for contractors and associates
- Leadership through commissioning, validation, and startup of equipment
- Next to project execution a focus on self-development & growth is expected
- Contributing to a winning environment which promotes safety, trust and confidence
