Senior Legal Counsel

We are working with our client, who is dedicated to advancing sustainable industrial practices, to hire a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel.

Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to provide critical legal support across various areas including labor, commercial, property, and administrative law. This role involves managing all types of contracts, serving as Data Protection Officer, co-leading the regional Compliance Program, and ensuring alignment with group-wide legal and regulatory standards.

Directly reporting to the cluster GC and dotted reporting to the managing director, the Senior Legal Counsel will support M&A transactions, coordinate with the European Legal & Compliance team, manage external counsel.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide legal counsel across all areas including labor, commercial, property, and administrative law.
• Manage all types of contracts related to the company\’s operations.
• Serve as Data Protection Officer and co-lead the regional Compliance Program.
• Ensure alignment with group-wide legal and regulatory standards.
• Support M&A transactions and coordinate with the European Legal & Compliance team.

Person Specification :

• Completed law degree (including Second State Examination / fully qualified lawyer).
• Ideally 7-10 years of experience in the industry or law firm.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and risk-based approach with a focus on adding value to the business.
• Positive, team-oriented, and resilient personality with a structured, independent, and meticulous working style.
