Cloud Engineer

Our client is a boutique consulting business specialising going through an exciting growth stage. We are looking for a talented Senior Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing team, working on Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Architecture Solution topics, focused on the Azure tech stack.

Role Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement tailored Azure cloud architectures to meet complex business needs.
• Guide clients through cloud adoption processes and define strategic roadmaps for Azure-based systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for enterprise-level organisations.
• Provide expert advice on Azure infrastructure optimisation, cost management, and performance enhancement.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between technical requirements and business strategies.

Key Skills Required :

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer Consulting role, working with industry clients to gather requirements
• Extensive expertise in Azure cloud services, including architecture, design, and deployment.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure-specific tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Active Directory.
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Relevant certifications in Azure technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Familiarity with hybrid-cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.
• Business-fluent German language is required
