Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of modern cloud data platforms for enterprise clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining architecture strategies, driving large-scale data transformation programmes, and leading delivery teams across multiple industries.
As part of a high-growth Data & Analytics practice, you will work closely with senior client stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions leveraging the Snowflake ecosystem and broader cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms.
- Define target-state data architectures, data models, and governance frameworks.
- Design and implement modern ELT/ETL pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
- Drive migration strategies from legacy data warehouses to Snowflake.
- Lead technical delivery teams and provide architecture governance throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement best practices around security, performance optimisation, data quality, and cost management.
- Support business development activities, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Mentor consultants and data engineers, fostering technical excellence across delivery teams.
Required Experience
Manager
- 6+ years of experience within Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Platforms.
- Strong hands-on Snowflake implementation experience.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data platforms.
- Knowledge of data integration tools such as Informatica, Matillion, DBT, Fivetran, or Azure Data Factory.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting experience.
Senior Manager
- 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics consulting or enterprise architecture.
- Multiple end-to-end Snowflake transformations delivered at scale.
- Experience leading large delivery teams and multi-million-pound transformation programmes.
- Track record of client relationship management and business development.
- Experience owning solution architecture across complex cloud ecosystems.
