Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic issuer business development professional to identify loyalty sales opportunities among financial institutions in Central Europe. The targeted markets include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Poland, Czech, and Slovakia. Working alongside the broader Mastercard sales and account teams, you will specialize in creating compelling propositions for clients using our diverse range of loyalty products and vendors. Additionally, you will collaborate with solution architects to sell complex loyalty platforms and programs. This position is an individual contributor role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sell loyalty solutions and services to financial institutions in Central Europe, including new and emerging neo banks.
- Assist banks in redefining their loyalty strategies to achieve better business results by transitioning to a Mastercard loyalty solution.
- Develop persuasive sales narratives, technical solutions, and client loyalty/commercial loyalty models. Demonstrate expertise when presenting to clients during pitches and workshops.
- Facilitate deal closures through contracting and pricing approvals.
All About You
- You have hands-on experience in Platform / SaaS sales or/ and sales in the financial services industry (merchant sales experience is a plus) for 6+ years.
- You have the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and in German.
- You are a dynamic and agile business development expert with high energy.
- You possess excellent relationship management skills, presentation skills, a good level of financial and technical acumen, and extensive experience in loyalty and loyalty program management. Preferably, you have a consultative sales approach.
