The Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim (near Frankfurt, Germany) invites applications for an IT Generalist (m/f/d) in full-time, Reference Number 2024_10.
The Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research offers the position of an IT infrastructure specialist, interested to work with cutting edge technologies in an inspiring and international research environment.
We are
- an international, high-profile, non-profit research institute, with almost 380 employees from over 40 countries, part of the Max Planck Society with 84 other facilities,
- a well-funded, diversified and modern research facility investigating various cutting-edge topics related to heart and lung development, regeneration and associated diseases,
- located in the spa town of Bad Nauheim, living close to nature and yet only 25 min car drive to Frankfurt,
- the core IT team responsible for all IT-related topics in the entire institute, with good relations to the other IT teams in Frankfurt and Gießen,
- working with high-end equipment in a scientific context (e.g. HPC, PB storage) on various OSes, platforms and systems, both commercial and open-source
