Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator manages the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of deliveries, pickups, shipments, and transportation activities. This role acts as a central point of contact between customers, suppliers, warehouses, drivers, and transportation companies to ensure goods are moved efficiently and on schedule. In office role in Gilching.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate deliveries and pickups between EU member states and into/out of the EU.
• Assign shipments to drivers, carriers, or transportation providers.
• Communicate delivery and pickup times with customers and suppliers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery, and transportation documentation.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays or scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
• Work with carriers and suppliers to resolve transportation issues.
• Help optimize delivery routes and transportation costs.
• Ensure shipments are handled according to company procedures and customer requirements.
• Backup other distribution roles as necessary to cover for absence or abnormal workload.

Required Skills

• Fluent English, German B2
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Experience with scheduling or logistics
• Experience with incoterms
• Knowledge of transportation and delivery best practices

Preferred Skills

• Drivers License
• Forklift License
• Experience with Dual-Use or IATA goods shipment
• FIATA
